WATER DISTRICT ELECTION SET FOR WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12
The Portsmouth Water and Fire District will hold its annual election on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Portsmouth Water and Fire District Office. One Moderator and one Treasurer will be elected for three year terms.
Nomination Papers may be obtained at the District Office, 1944 East Main Road on or after April 12, 2019 and must be returned to said office no later than 4:00 P.M. on May 13, 2019.

Installation of a lawn irrigation system is required to have a backflow assembly installed per Rhode Island General Laws Title 46 Chapter 46-13 Public Drinking Water Protection. The backflow device must be approved by the Portsmouth Water & Fire District prior to installation and inspection.
