Lead Service Line Inventory

  • As part of EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revision, they have mandated that every public water supplier take an inventory of all the water service lines in their distribution system primarily to identify and remove lead service lines.
  • There are almost 7,000 metered water service lines in the District. Of these, the material of a small percentage of water services are unknown. Customers with unknown service lines are receiving notices by mail and/or e-mail with information on how to report their water service line material.
  • We have partnered with Trinnex, using their leadCAST software to aid in this endeavor.
  • If your material is unknown, please click the button below with help with LOCATING and IDENTIFYING your pipe material to REPORT your findings. One can also see their status in the map below. A solid green dot means one is compliant and there is nothing to report.
